About Me

What to say about me?

I am a student from Hamburg, Germany. I love travelling! That is one reason for my "work" as a group leader in a boy-scouting group of 11-12 year old boys. Every year we travel to different countries in Europe. So far we visited Poland, Hungary and Slovenia.
I've been a boyscout for 10 years and in my "career" as a scout I've also been to:
Sweden
Poland (4 times)
Czech Republic
Slovakia
Italy
Turkey
Estonia
Lithuania
Latvia
Hungary
Slovenia
Austria

Beside "boy-scouting" I'm into playing the guitar, taking photos, painting and making movies (I'm quite an amatuer)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Country count: 21
I love the philosophy of couchsurfing. I think it is wonderful to share the opportunity to stay somewhere for free.
I do love travelling and I find it quite more authentic to visit a city while sleeping on a couch or in an apartement (from Airb'n'b for example).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love any kind of music. Music from my hometown Hamburg is amazing. Jan Delay and Samy-Deluxe are awesome.
All kind of electronic music and electro-swing is awesome!
EARTH, WIND & FIRE

My favourite book by far is "Der Schwarm" by Frank Schätzing. The second one is Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't really know what to write here so:

One Thing that really sticks to my mind is:
Some years ago, I have been arrested for "peeing in public" in Lithuania. Actually, it was in a public parc and I was hiding very well but some police-officer saw me so...
It was very exciting and the police-man wanted to imprison me or something... So I gave him 20 euros and ran away, entered the bus, yelled and the bus-driver, who put foot down and drove away.

Don't know if this story fits...
