Overview
About Me
I am Graphic Designer from Melbourne, Victoria making my way from South East Asia to Europe (As much overland as possible) one country at a time. After working for a few years in Australia i found that working and having no time to travel wasn't for me so i decided to pack it all up and explore the world by experiencing authentic travel through local people, culture and cuisine (I am a vegetarian also).
I am super easy going, have a big laugh and am always up for a game of ping pong or a good discussion.
I love collaborating my design with travel opportunities and getting a real feel of a place and its people helps me do this.
I have a passion for photography and surfing and love the clean, wholesome way of life.
I carry a jar of Vegemite everywhere i go (don't worry you'll soon do the same).
I believe in honesty, kindness and generosity and I am always interested in everyone I meet. I love being on a beach or in the mountains, sitting by a fire with a cup of tea or riding a wave.
I appreciate great food and love exploring local cuisine.
Adventurous and daring, i love trying new things and experiencing everything that a new place has to offer.
I've been on the road for a year and a half and not planning on settling anytime soon.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While staying in hostels is nice i think that meeting the locals, and have those everyday experiences fuels my travel stoke. Seeing museums or monuments is great but what do you do everyday? I want to learn about the history of a place through its people not from what i read on a blog or in a museum.

Music, Movies, and Books
Keeping inspired is what fuels my creativity so flicking through any sort of design book is a must. Watching live music has always been a love of mine and I will often try to find a blues or Jazz bar in whichever city i am in.
My absolute favourite books include
Kite Runner & A Thousand Splendid Suns - Khaled Hosseini
Shantaram - Gregory David Roberts
Marching Powder - Thomas Mcfadden
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While my current trip is a huge dream of mine, i believe along the way that extending myself and getting out of my comfort zone makes my trip ever more memorable.
Along the way I have learned how to surf in Sri Lanka, Walked into the Himalayas in Nepal, spent 6 months exploring India and saw a sunset from the top of Myanmar Temple.
Have any more suggestions?
