Overview
About Me
MOST RECENT TRIP
Currently: packed up my life into a car and pursuing my dream of sailing, starting in sunny Florida.
2013: Bike trip: Richmond, VA -> Pittsburgh with friends, then solo -> Cleveland -> Detroit -> Toronto -> Montreal
2011: bike trip across the US from Virginia to California via the southern tier. Amazing.
ABOUT ME
I love people who realize that life can be any way that they want it to be and are actively pursuing their happiness. I'm doing my best to be that kind of person while staying somewhat grounded, but the pull to run off and be crazy sometimes conflicts with practical realities, I know. I want to experience everything, basically.
PHILOSOPHY
If you have a chance to do something amazing you must do it, no excuses. Be as good as you can to people, it often pays off in strange ways. Don't get too comfortable.

Teach, Learn, Share
I could tell you a lot about traveling by bicycle. Making fire, stealth camping, Richmond/Virginia history, working with children. I could say a lot about working with individuals with severe mental illness if you are interested in the subject. I always love learning practical skills, especially camping/survival/outdoor skills.
