I really enjoy just about any outdoor activity I have tried. I particularly enjoy backcountry tele skiing, rock and ice climbing, canoeing and kayaking, backpacking/hiking and love to extend all those over multiple days in the backcountry.
I love to dance and while I don't currently dance all that much, in the past I have really enjoyed swing(lindy), cajun/zydeco, contra, waltzing, swedish dancing and more. I generally don't go club dancing, but on the rare occasion I can get into it.
I enjoy cooking and eating great food. I love to cook indian food, and am interested in learning more french cuisine(among many others!)

I love reading, love it! I'm in the middle of about 20 books right now, some I have not picked up in years, others I am tearing through. Most of what I read is about geology/ecology, however, I also love some books on philosophy or sociology and some interesting literature. Also, let's not forget some travel writing(Peter Matthiessen springs to mind)
I love music, most all varieties, but more blues, jazz, bluegrass, cajun, zydeco, and scottish. I am learning to play cajun accordion, but it is a slow process
