About Me
3 years ago I finished college in audiovisual arts, the education that is probably the dumbest way to a job in these times of crises. And happy about it.
I enjoy the process of making films enormously, but I took a small break from it: while travelling in Israel/Palestine I got offered a job in a university. So I packed my bags and left for the Westbank to work as a teacher. I'm now continuing this occupation in sub-saharan Africa.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The people on couch surfing are likely people I get along with. I don't like the chitty chat conversations that precede getting to know someone. Couchsurfing is like hitch-hiking in that it demands a level of two-way trust that makes you skip the boring beats when meeting people, and moves conversation to more profound topics quickly.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Hustler, Casablanca, Once Upon A Time in The West, Ivan's Childhood, Billy Wilder for dialogue, Stanley Kramer for camera-movements, PT Anderson for directing.
Can appreciate occasional bursts of almost every musical genre. I really like eighties noise rock industrial stuff like Einstürzende Neubauten, Laibach. Generally it comes down to high energy droopy music.
Always reading at least one book, at a moderate pace. Favourites in the last couple of years: Earthly Powers, Crash (Ballard), Freedom
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 14 I ran down a vulcano.
