ABOUT ME

I am an open, active guy. I have a passion for seeing new things and meeting new people.
I currently live in the UK, having left NZ six years ago! time flies...
I have also lived in Japan and would like to sample more of the world if possible.
I have been saving my pennies and hope to see a lot in '11. Starting with the former USSR and heading south through middle east. Thats the plan anyway.
I love meeting fellow travellers so this sounds like a great idea.

I have just started to learn about this. I am keen to participate as a surfer and reciprocate when my travel is temporarily halted.

Travel is an obvious one!
I love experiencing new places and cultures. Seeing what's out there!
Making friends with people form other countries.
In my home life I am really into sports, current affairs, music the usual.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sun come up from Mt Nemrut in central Turkey one Chilly and clear September morning.
Mt Nemrut is pretty extraordinary as it has 2000 year old sculptures of enthroned gods atop it surveying the land below.
