About Me
Hi. I'm a guy who loves the Pacific Northwest. I decided to move here on purpose after all. I grew up in Oklahoma, but never quite felt like it was my true home. Then one fateful May day, about 5 years ago, a tornado destroyed the home I had only been in for a couple of months. After the initial shock and devastation, I realized that this could become the best thing to ever happen to me. I could start over with a brand new life of my choosing. So I studied programming and made the leap to Seattle. I know I already said this, but I'll say it again...I love it here. I love the forest most of all. The nature that surrounds us is just incredible. The mountains and the water are not to be overlooked either. I want to be out hiking or camping every chance I get. I also love sharing my knowledge of the area that surrounds us, both the city and the country.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to get to know people from all over the world and I know that the people that are adventurous use this tool. I also love to travel and a friend of mine used this to find people to stay with in other countries. I met some of the most amazing people this way. I have a great place to stay in a great city and love to share.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love most forms of EDM, funky, folk, etc. If it's music I probably love it. I especially love Trevor Hall at the moment. I read voraciously, usually 4-5 books at a time (including audiobooks), as well as podcasts. I love reading things that help me grow as a person, learn more about the world, and also things that are just plain fun.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently stumbled upon a Rainbow Gathering in Costa Rica. This is a group of loving and like-minded individuals who come together for a month (new moon to new moon) to build a community together. It is an event to come closer to nature and each other, full of sharing and learning. It was one of the most transformative experiences of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am currently learning as much as possible about Buddhist psychology and love to learn and share about that. I also know how to make iPhone apps and if someone is curious then I'm always willing to teach a bit about that. I'm always curious about any art or creative skill you might have. Please share!
Countries I’ve Visited
