About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be concious of every moment and experience I encounter, to live in the now, in search for balance in every aspect of my life, to dedicate FOCUSED time on my passion fo traveling, teaching, learning, helping, and wandering as far as my sneaks cantakeme!

ABOUT ME

Out of school I had a Fortune 500 sales Job, worked from home, had managers who took me out golfing/wining/dining, and by the age of 23 had sole responsibility for three of the largest global retailers...and then "Quit." My couchsurfing cruise around the continents is an unorthodox, action-packed, and positive-vibe-driven sebaticle where I attempt to seek out my own personal legend in the confines of this crazy universe the only way I know how...taking a running leap to the edge of the cliff, closing my eyes, double fist pump to the sky screaming GERONIMO!!! I can't wait to share stories while creating new ones!

PHILOSOPHY

Again, you can get the gist from above, but ive carved out my 4 principles I try to live my life by, that are no fail, and will lend you a place to stay, food to eat, and a continuously growing network of unforeseen friends...

1) Open-Mindedness - The one thing I know for sure, is that there is no one right in this world, as long as you are still able to question opposing viewpoints/lifestyles, you are still living. Don't judge anyone.

2) Being Humble - Dont be the loudmouth know-it-all no one really likes them for more than a short period of time
3) Being able to show humility - At least attempt to order a meal, say thanks, or hello in a country's foreign tongue. Always try and speak with smiles when you are in a foreign city, state, country, or even a differnt area of your native country. Try to embrace your surroundings, step out of your comfort zone.
4) Be Genuine - One can sense being genuine, it's the energy you produce and expel that others can smell/feel/and taste. Again speak with smiles (that's my catch phrase), don't lie, be straight up from the very beginning, and there will be no fuzzy expectations or surprises. Do you, Be all of you, and share it with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

All About You pretty much sums it up. I am a journalist, enjoy writing poems, freestyling, and making music anyway I can. I write down everything so you might make an appearance in my novel in progress/blog/or rant so don't be surprised (That sounded kind of creepy, I wont write about you if you dont want to haha).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have limited experience in surfing/hosting within the United States, I have both hosted and surfed once, but looking to get my surfing on in S.A at the beginning of the year!

Interests

Freestyling, analyzing every aspect of a community, interaction...like when a server gives you a smile when they lie your food down in front of you, turn around, then go back to a grizzly grimace..what are they thinking about at that moment?
I dabble in photography, picking up a casual conversation with your local homeless change-gatherer, or a beautiful woman twice my age, we all have something to offer.
New Places, People, and Thiiings constantly, it's what I thrive on and feels right

Music, Movies, and Books

Eckart Tolle all day, all books on religion (Breaking the Belief), new world order, economics and politics that ensue, Vagabonding, On The Road, Bhagavad Gita most recently...list goes on forever we can talk later, this isnt a very juicy paragraph

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my secure fortune 500 job out of school, sold my car, donated my clothes and possesions to Salvation army and trekked out on my own to find my Truth and REALity.

Skydiving 3 times, Hiking/camping through the Narrows in Zion NTL Park,Hopped on stage during a concert and freestyled for 5 mins and took the band into their break...15 mins of fame haha

Teach, Learn, Share

Getting your thoughts out of your head and onto paper or through any channels of expression. Those ideas were fabricated in order to share and touch others! Finding happiness in the shallowest and darkest of places
