Right off the bat - just want to acknowledge that, for the most part, I'm super new to Couchsurfing! I made a profile in 2013 when I was traveling in Japan/Thailand, but it kind of slipped off my radar as an option until recently! Key things to know about me if you welcome me into your home - I am friendly, extroverted (within reason - I'd love to talk with and get to know you, but also respect quiet time!), open-minded, and fun! Other things about me - I'm currently job searching! I've worked in higher education for five years and am looking for my next great job at a university! I'm obsessed with my undergraduate institution - The College of William & Mary! I'm an avid tennis player, theater goer, and I love my dog, Avocado!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, but I'm getting tired of tourist traps. I'd love to meet new people in a way you can't at a hotel and learn about the "real life" experience of wherever I'm living.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Carrie Underwood is my queen and all-time favorite. Other favorites include Lady Gaga, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, and a variety of musical theatre and country artists.

Movies - I usually only get into movies during awards season. Recent favorites include A Star Is Born and Mary Poppins Returns.

Books - I currently can't put down "Becoming" by Michelle Obama!
