About Me

Hello, my name is timo
I am 25 years old. I come from Germany.
A few weeks ago I quit my apartment because I want to travel through Europe. I think it is a big adventure for me. I don't want to follow the normal structures of normal people anymore.
I think life has more to offer than a big house, boat, a lot of money and children.

I'd like to introduce myself

I love sports whether it's fitness, boxing, cycling, hiking or whatever. It's like medicine for me and my mind. I have also discovered reading books for myself over the last few years. Biographies and history books interest me the most. But I also like to drink a glass of red wine or a cold beer. I love to dance to good music, like to eat traditional food. And I would like to get to know as many cultures and facets of life as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A good friend recommended couchsurfing to me. He said if you want to get to know the Southern European culture, this is the best way.
I was often in Italy, but now I want to get to know Spain and Portugal as well as the people there.
I think you can get to know places and people you wouldn't meet on a normal trip.
I've noticed that the hospitality.
In southern europe is different from where I come from.
To connect with wonderful people and to have good conversations.
Is that a great way.

Music, Movies, and Books

i listen to a lot of music. it doesn't matter if it's hip hop or rock or club music. the important thing is the rhythm and the message of the artist behind it.

important books for me were buddhist teachings like siddhartha by herman hesse
but even without a religious background they were books by people like Carlos Castaneda
The Teachings of Don Juan.

I've seen a lot of movies and there are wonderful movies but I don't waste any more time watching tv.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most beautiful experience for me was traveling with the motorbike across italy, switzerland and holland. thousands of kilometers across the country an incredible feeling. Every day you had to find a new place to sleep no matter if under roof or without.
it's a little bit like couchsurfing.
Of course you have a roof over your head.
But actually the same
