About Me
Hi there, my name is Timo. I'm a easy going guy and I am easily satisfied. It's the small things in live that matter the most. I travel the world with my partner in crime, Franka. We just love adventure because it makes us humble and better people. Our daughter Liselot was born in 2012 and sometimes we already take her to explore this amazing planet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We believe that traveling can be done cheap and the world is too marvelous to miss. Traveling by normal means is expensive and will often bring you to boring hotel rooms without getting the change to meet the people in the country. Locals can often give you the best advise and show you some amazing places that you would often miss.
Interests
We love nature. I'm a avid birdwatcher and we often take long walks in nature. But we also love culture. Especially when it's old. We love to visit places with a rich history. We can show you the best museum and we would love to hear what places we should visit when crashing your couch.

Music, Movies, and Books
We love to read when we get the change. History, filosophy, fantasy, thriller - you name it. Our music taste is kind of weird. We switch from Foo Fighters to Mozart and from Soul to Pop.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We'll tell you.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Martial Arts, Birding, Dutch and English.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you martial arts for free. I give training in Jeet Kune Do, MMA and Krav Maga. When we are in Europe I can also teach you about the birds in your region. Although our household isn't that conservative. Franka can learn you some great stuff about the vegetarian kitchen.
