Overview
About Me
My name is Timo, I'm 32 years old and I'm from Germany.
I started couchsurfing, when i decided to reward my gradiation with a jurney to USA and Brazil. During this journey i got to know a lot of great people while. That was my first time out of Europe and I learnd so much about the american and brazilian culture :)
Since Sept. 2018 I work as a teacher :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to get to know people from all over the world. On my trips through Europe, USA and Brazil I learnd that staying with locals can in no way be compared to staying at a hotel. Okay, I am a newbie as a host right now, but I also want to host people from other countries and show them my hometown.
Since CS has a Paywall I used another plattform and hostet alot over there. Feel free to check my references there :)
Now (July '24) I purchased CS to check I there is still the old spirit on the original Couchsurfing.
Interests
I am an athletic guy and I love sports! I have done Judo, played soccer and tried much more. That's also the reason I studied sports (p.e.)
I love to meet my friends and have a nice time with them (e.g. watching/playing soccer, cooking, listening to music in a park, ..)
Last but not least I see travelling as one of my biggest interests because I want to stay as open minded as I can and learn as much as possible about other countries and other cultures.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I made soooo many cool friends on couchsurfing and I am still in contact with so many friends I made on this plattform!!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Me as a person that might not be the best chef in the world but that always add the ingredient love. :D
