ABOUT ME

I am a 26 year old student at Delft University of Technology where I attend my master's degree. I have traveled around the world and want to keep doing so. I love meeting new friends on holidays and later meet up with them in their own country.
I am a person that cannot sit still and when I do sit still my body itches from all things I want to do.

Interests

During my holidays I love to do active things. I did whitewater kayaking for a while, and I still love to snowboard. However since my big travels to Australia and New Zealand I also love to do multi-day hikes through the wilderness.

At home, I am still a busy student, but I go longboarding now and then and I like to hang out with friends and go out and stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my travels in New Zealand I wanted to do one exciting walk. However the walk I chose to walk, alone, was apparently one of the harder ones to do around there and even more so the weather in which I was walking, a hurricane.
Almost finishing my walk I met a father and two daughters, but 3 km before the end there was this massive landslide and no way to cross it.
We decided to go around it, but this was too tiresome for the daughters and got stuck on a mountain during a hurricane.
Luckily I had all the gear we needed and we set up a camp and via my plb I sent a distress signal. However the helicopter could not come at first so we had to survive on the mountain for a while before we were rescued.
