COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couch serving for years, on my own that is. when I was 18-20 hitched around the world meeting new people and staying at odd places, usually couches, sometimes in barns and sometimes slept under the stars. I love what travel does for the soul and how meeting new people, especially staying with them opens up a unique kind of understanding.

i have traveled a lot and seen a lot of amazing things. i have spent time with the poorest and the richest people on earth. i have hitch-hiked across the usa and europe, slept in tents, chicken coops and under the stars.

i am interested in simplicity. seeing things from the big picture. i am into the concepts of the japanese tea ceremony such as wabi sabi. i feel everyone has something to share and teach. sometimes even a smile is an education.
