About Me

I'm a still-young IT guy from the capital of Russia (Moscow) where I lived whole my life. But the world is not limited to one city and one country (even that big as Russia) and thats why I'm here.
I love to explore other countries (especially outside of usual tourist places) and even more - other peoples culture, traditions and customs.
Also I love sports - I ride bicycles a lot, also ice skates and snowboard at winter.
I'm a big fan of Science Fiction books (like John Scalzi) and movies or tv-series. In free time I love to hang out with my friends - drinking beer or playing board games or just walking all over the city.

At summer i would like to meet some foreign people and take a holiday bicycle ride with em to near-Moscow Bike-Lake or Pirogovsky storage reservoir to show, how is beautiful nature in Russia, just outside the Moscow =) got 2 more bicycles for that.
I'd also like to travel across the Europe for the next few years on my bicycle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to find new friends all over the world.
I already hosted twice at my place and looking for a new guests to come.
As an active cyclist I know my city very well with a lot of interesting places that even lot of locals doesn't know. And i want to share it with other travelers :)
In June-July 2014 I travelled across Finland and Sweden with my friend Daria, sometimes staying at CSurfers places with overall good expirience - we have had a camp with us, but it was still fun to meet locals to stay with and chat, walk or even ride together. After that there were like 7 more countries and loot of awesome people from CS from different parts of the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - russian SKA and SKA-Punk bands, sometimes classics like Vagner or Vivaldi or just some cool one hit wonders.
Movies - SyFy, black comedies and USA/British TV series like Dr.Who and lot of more. Big fan of Tarantino movies (Pulp Fiction is the best!).
Books - SyFy or just fiction. Sometimes just some easy-reading (I'm trying to read everything in English). And lot of technical books to improve my computer skills (database administering).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2-week bicycle trip across Finland and Sweden in 2014.
And another one - solo 2-week bike trip across Montenegro and Serbia in 2015.
Last year - 3 weeks cycling across Spain with my girlfriend.
And this year I'm planning to ride through Germany, Czech and Austria.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you some IT things like programming (just basics or some languages like Python or Qt) or dealing with databases (SQL, administering). I could also teach you to ride bicycle, ice skates or snowboard.
I also have some basic skills playing harmonica and songs like "7 Nations Army" =)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could cook dinner for us and help cleaning house.
I could also help you with anything computer-related - I'm a preofessional problem solver like a Mister Wolf from Pulp Fiction, but with computers =)
And if you are intersting, I could teach you Russian or tell you a lot about our culture and habits.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belarus, Belgium, Egypt, Finland, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Portugal, Serbia, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In
