Resumen
Sobre mí
I am vaccinated against COVID-19, 18.2.2021.
I live alone in Kamppi in Helsinki city center (since July 2018). This is a very pricey area, but for me it's worth it. There are a lot of cool people to meet and a lot of things to do with them in here. It's a joyful life and hanging around with other couchsurfers is small, but equally exciting part of it. I'm glad about all the positive references and vouches that I've got. It's my pleasure to offer nice experiences for you intriguing peeps.
My childhood was happy, except that I couldn't play football because of health issues and then MTV corrupted me :D After growing up I moved to a city and nightlife did further damage :D Later on in life I luckily found some wholesome hobbies. Nowadays I always go to dance. I rushed to the latin dance schools in Helsinki at the end of 2016 and I've been spending my free time in those actively ever since.
In my life I have lived years together with a hot girlfriend and years with academic flat mates, but still most of my adult life I have lived alone. In this way of living I can have my own space and guests when ever I want, which is great.
I studied in Turku university and I did my master thesis from pure mathematics. What comes to my professional life, there is only one thing that I have really done. I have a cool job, but I don't like to talk about it too much. I can tell you more when we meet though.
If you are thinking about my age, I´m obviously not 18 anymore. That much you can deduce for yourself from the fresh pictures and the bio :)
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I hope to make people jealous by showing them how great my life is :D
I think Couchsurfing club is good for experiencing the world in a way money can't buy... I took that from this website, About us -section :D It also reads there that the idea is to share, connect and be kind/curious. That sounded good to me, so that's why I joined :) I think I'll never stop loving adventures while low budget traveling.
When I lived in a bit small and boring town Pori, I started weekly international meetings in Havana Bar and Coffee. Nobody else there would have done it in a million years, so I did it and created some joy and gave some inspiration for others and to be fair met some cool people myself as well.
In Helsinki I organised two times an event, where we went to visit modern art museum Kiasma together as a group on a day they had free entrance . After that we went to Lost in Helsinki, which is a bar :) We got lost from each others, but had still good time. Later one dude from there got inspired and organised a meetup, which was exactly the same :D
I have joined few times weekly meeting here in Helsinki. I have also being in Christmas parties and summer picnics here and I think these guys here are very friendly and they are doing an excellent job!
Algo increíble que he hecho
Here are few things:
1.0. I was born among the most nordic people on earth, surrounded by hills, lakes, forests and fascination.
1.1. I got into university without entrance exam to study math and graduated in 6 years with a Master's degree with good grades.
1.2. During our summer road trip in United States me and my friend from uni were hiking in deserts and one day we walked 10 km to Grand Canyon and another 10 km back up. It took 8 hours and 6 liters of water.
1.3. When I was travelling in Thailand I made friends with a local thai girl. There was 3 letters in her name and she is one of the sweetest persons I know.
1.4. I was in a bachata show team and we performed 2 times in the end of 2019.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
General topic of discussion inside couchsurfers community is how much time is supposed to be spent together. I think it depends on what you guys want. Every situation is unique, so communicate with each others about your schedules and interests. If you both want the same thing that's great. But try not to give promises you know you won't keep, just to get a free place to stay, because that would be fucked up.
Contrary to what you might think based on one of my references, you are free to stay at my place the first time without teaching, learning or sharing anything. I like to be social, but I don’t have to socialize with everybody. Possible second time is for those with whom I connect and have some things in common, like for example for Alina, Carolina or Veronika, just to name a few :)
You might join me in yoga, dancing, cooking, etc. If you get food poisoning from my cookings, you can write me a negative reference :D
Me gustaría aprender más español, pero something new about any culture can be engaging too. If you succeed, I will write you an extra positive reference :)
If you want (and if you have your mother’s approval :D) you may also join me and my awesome friends when we go to a steamy latin party.
Even though I can't host from complicated reasons nearly as much as I've been requested to, you may as well try your luck while you still can. Think about it this way: I would have probably been bad news anyway, but because I know many people maybe with my help you will find a host who is actually responsible and nice :D
