ABOUT ME

We are a young couple, working in graphic design (Larisa) and mobile application development (Timo).
We lived in Portugal for one year as exchange students. That's where we met! There we discovered different cultures and different people, and realised how fascinating it is to make friends from other corners of the world. We think that CouchSurfing could be a similar experience so we joined it, hoping to meet new people and share travelling adventures :).

We are interested in technology and design and we're building personal projects along with work all the time. We like to keep ourselves active, so we even get involved in startups whenever we see something interesting coming up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When we travel, we like to experience the local culture and spend time with our hosts. We've been hanging out with each of our host so far and it's been really great :) It's a different experience than travelling without knowing any local people.

Music: I enjoy various music genres like rock, jazz, reggae, oldies, dub-step, drum&bass. I also like acoustic music and although I'm not very skilled at playing guitar, I can sing along with anyone who plays and we'd surely end up having a great time.
Some of my favourite artists/bands are Jack Johnson, Death cab for cutie, Portugal the man, Norah Jones, The Smashing Pumpkins, Nouvelle Vague, The Doors, Loost Koos, Raappana, The XX, AC/DC, Manu Chao, Bob Marley, Shaggy, The Eagles, The Beatles and maaany more.
I think it usually depends on the mood. I am open to any kind of music that has a good bit and makes me feel good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exchange year abroad, surfing in the ocean, spending a night on the roof in Portugal.
