ABOUT ME

im 26, male and british. ive got dark brown hair (with a few greys) and some eyes. what does this section want from me????? i studied history and politics, i hate sweetcorn, really like crunchy green vegetables. I like to be chilled and see some cool things, meet some cool people with ideas. i work for a company inspecting schools and dull thingsa like that but its not what i do, its just something i do. I play banjo and guitar in a band. we are average.

PHILOSOPHY

i am an atheist. but that doesnt mean im bad.struggling to come to terms with the fact i dont control everything.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well im new to all this, i met someone on holiday in macedonia who explained all this to me and so i thought i would sign up! I have had a couple of people come and stay and I am using this as a great opportunity to meet some people while we are away for 6 months. i havenet been on it for a while

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have stayed in several peoples house, mainly in the former yugoslavia but never as part of the CS project. its always a good way to see a different side of a town. People who may have stayed with me will have hopefully seen somethings that maybe you wouldn't have if you were in a hotel

兴趣

i like music, some good some bad and love going to gigs. i'd rather stay in a month and go to an amazing gig than to a nightclub. i am in a band that plays poppy folk stuff. http://www.myspace.com/theminkewhalesi also go and see bristol rovers. they are terrible.apart from this is like to go to a pub quiz and relax a fair amount.

i like films that you need to concentrate such as momento. i find films with subtitles make you concentrate as well! i also am fond of films which are based around conversations. withnail and i is amazing! bob dylan and neil young are regular but i have a wide ranging spectrum of musical tastes. whats my fav? what day is it? i like to read but keep falling asleep. its terrible.

ive seen quite a few things, the taj mahal, a man pooing in the middle of the street and meter-long leeks but nothing can quite prepare you for the funerals and cremations at the side of the ganga

i can teach guitar a little or banjo. maybe how to make the perfect cup of english tea. I also like the idea of spreading great British cooking. We can cook for our sleeps! Who doesn't like to share a great recipe- especially for Toad-in-the-hole or Shepherds Pie!
