I also have many interests and hobbies to keep my wandering mind occupied. I have been exploring the great western wilderness of the United States both professionally and recreationally for the last several years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always enjoyed my times staying with families and fellow travelers on the open road of life~it seems couch surfing has made this possible even more often!

Interests

I have more interests and hobbies than any reasonable person could. I grew up with Hockey and snow sports in a small town. I love playing most sports! From ultimate frisbee to golf to soccer-I'm in! Other interests (in no particular order): seeing new places, hiking, backcountry snowboarding, reading, video editing, photography, woodworking, teaching, learning, dancing and soaking up the world around me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: The classics (be that classical music or classic rock), EDM, playing music, making new songs with friends, electronica, great musicianship in all its forms!

Movies: it turns out modern television is getting better than most movies!Whatcha got HBO, Showtime, YouTube, Vimeo. I miss you Jon Stewart and Colbert! Of course, there are decades of great movies out there, but I'm not sure listing a few will help define me..

Books: The golden spruce is great! The Tiger also. Long form journalism books. Adventure books (Eiger Dreams, Lost city of Z, Darma bums). Every word by Kurt Vonnegut is wonderful. Political books at once inspire and enrage me!
