I am from New Paltz, NY and I am travelling with my roommate and friend Sean. With us is my 4 year old black lab, a registered service dog with the national service animal registry.
I have much experience in many trades including, mechanics, carpentry, roofing, plumbing, flooring, masonry and electrical. Upon arriving in Boulder I wish to attend college for automotive mechanics in the fall semester of 2015.
Sean has a lot of farmhand experience with horses, goats and chickens. For two years he lived on a farm outside of New Paltz taking care of the animals and maintaining the property. Sean also plans on attending college this fall with me.
In the meantime we are looking for employment and housing. We have our own transportation and both have valid NYS licenses. With both of our skill sets combined we should be able to find jobs rather quick.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Moving to boulder with the goal to get a job and get an apartment. Need a place to stay until I can accomplish these goals.
