My name is Timothy Misiura, I live in Kyiv which is the capital of Ukraine. It has been always rather hard for me to write about myself because I am a perfectionist by nature. Hence there are so many things I want to improve within myself in order to become better. But, anyway, there are things that I would like to outline. I am not a sociable kind of person. And that it is because I am sensitive to the world and people around me. But when it comes to meeting new people, to communicating with them I manage to do that quite easily since I am honest and open-hearted. And I have experienced that we, people, unconsciously feel this sincerity, it attracts us and we want to answer it in return the same way. I also find that love, peace of mind, freedom, inspiration, joy and hope are something that we must always keep in mind to live on, to put one foot forward and then the other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This summer of 2018 I am going on a trip to Europe. It will be my first experience of doing such a thing. I will be on my own with a backpack and I guess this might be pretty tough for me. That's why I am on Couchsurfing - I hope to meet people, to ask for some directions and a piece of advice while staying in cities they live in; I want to see the life with their eyes, I want to be a part of it even if it takes only a limited period of time; I want to taste local food and alcohol, smoke local tobacco. I want to get experienced and see something new that will shake and broaden my mind.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am studying thermodynamics and heat-mass exchange, and I am acquainted with the heat generation equipment (e.g. boilers, heat pumps) and other stuff like that.
I can play the guitar but not like Jimmy Page.
I am also interested in learning about culture and history of people whose countries and cities I will be visiting during my trip.
I am doing meditation and I guess I could teach some basic principles of this practice. Indeed it really helps me to stay focused, to reveal inspiration that is concealed within us.
