Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Sneaking fireworks onto Navy bases in middle school. While in middle school I lived in Japan for three years. My dad used to be in the Navy which allowed us to travel to some cool places as kids. In Japan we lived both on base and out in town giving us two pretty unique experiences taking in the Japanese culture. As a kid, I couldn't have asked for anything more. The safe atmosphere of Japan and living on a base gave my friends and I a pretty sweet amount of freedom given or age. We often spent our free time wondering around the base and surrounding cities as we pleased by talking advantage of their great public transportation system. Living in Japan really gave me an idea about how diverse the world can be and how important it is to keep an open mind.
