Overview
About Me
Raised overseas as the son of a Diplomat, I bounced around the globe with my 5 siblings every 2-3 years. My childhood included stops in Austria, Nepal, Vietnam, Malaysia, Russia, England, and Virginia. My latest international experience was a 2 year volunteer mission in Northern England. Being a global citizens has become a huge part of my identity and has influenced my career path.
My ambition is to alleviate poverty through business principles and empowering those at the very bottom of the pyramid. This is what I read about in my free time and I'll be living in India to experience more first hand.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I grew up traveling and meeting people from all over the world and I want to continue! I make friends very quickly and enjoy listening to people's perspectives because they influence my own. I love the feeling of adventure and I love metropolitan areas!
Interests
I have been a sports addict for my entire life, particularly basketball, american football, and proper football. I have many sporting events on my bucket list, including a Premier League game, World Cup, NBA Finals, floor seats at an NBA game, and tailgating at a college football game in the South. I'm looking forward to going to my first cricket match when I'm in India!
As stated above my passion is alleviating global poverty! I'd love to speak with anyone about it.
I also love India. I have had Indian friends my whole life and would love to live there some day with my own family. I'll be spending 10 months there starting June of 2016!
I also love cacti, blue whales, planning my day, and Phil Collins.
