About Me
Feels good to be back on Couchsurfing!
I am a university undergraduate student doing a semester abroad in the US. Looking forward to exploring the US and meeting new people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The couchsurfing community is simply amazing. Have been on the platform since 2017 and used it heavily when I was backpacking around Northern / Eastern Europe in 2018. Hoping to relive those experiences in the US.
Interests
I got into photography only recently. At first, i just wanted a decent camera and learn how to take nice pictures of my friends and family and the places i've been. Now, i realised that i kinda like it and ever since i've been exploring street photography.
I like visiting museums and art galleries, getting to know the culture and way of life of a society through its art, music and film. But i'm no expert at it. Would be great if you could share your insights on some of the art, music and film of your country when we hang out :)
I am also quite a sporty person, i like to watch and to play most kinds of sport. I used to practice Taekwondo for 5 years and had to stop when i was conscripted. I play basketball every weekend with my friends. Despite my passion for sports, i've never really trained professionally with any group, more of a "weekend athlete".
I am into all kinds of music, i dont believe in exclusivity of music tastes. I like to listen to a variety of genres and think about which aspects of life does that piece of music reflect. My music preference has been swinging from genres to genres: EDM, jazz, soul, classic rock.
I'll be reading Law at National University of Singapore starting in August and would love to learn more about your views on this subject matter and about the legal system and problems of your country :)
That said, if you like to party, i am always down for a drink or maybe a couple more. If you like to go to clubs, i can always recommend you places :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Love reading non-fiction - really interested in finance and law these days. Would read some classical fiction from time to time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Solo-backpacked across Northern and Eastern Europe for 2 and a half months. I packed my bags and booked my tickets and just left. I met so many people, went to so many places and experienced so many things, it was amazing :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn about your country. About her history, her significance to the world today and the struggles and challenges of her people. I believe no city nor country could have withstood the test of time by fluke and i would like to hear about how your country/city made it this far: the war stories, the stories of the people, of successes and of heartbreaks, the challenges and the struggles and everything else!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Always happy to share a meal / drinks!
