About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make friends in every continent!
ABOUT ME
I'm a engineering graduate student from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo CA. I'm an avid surfer (as in waves), climber, and outdoor enthusiast. I love meeting new people and traveling to new places!
I grew up in Glendale California which is close to Disneyland and Hollywood. I actually worked at Disneyland as an engineer. It was a blast!
Well into my 20's, I'm looking to change the world by increasing awareness around sustainability, helping shape the future of AI, and live a minimalist lifestyle.
PHILOSOPHY
Live, love, and learn! Never stop exploring. I'm a philosopher of life and always questioning the norm.
Our world economy is based on an infinite growth model that cannot be sustained. How will we design systems to cohabit the world with all the other species and life? I'm working on it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couch surfing is all about meeting the locals and having a good time. Rather than stay in a stuffy hotel, it's all about getting to know new friends and see their town from a local perspective.
I've surfed German and Austria. What an experience! As soon as I got home, I opened up my place to accept surfers and love meeting new people!
Interests
Learning new things, meeting new people, seeing new places, experiencing life, and enjoying the outdoors.
I love watching a good movie, playing the occasional video game, board games, listening to music, throwing the occasional party, and working on new business ventures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've surfed at world renown Trestles in Southern California, shaped my own surfboard, white water rafted the steepest river in America.
Teach, Learn, Share
I studied industrial engineering and wrote my thesis on biomimic applications in complex systems. I'm pretty good with computers and technology. Love language but am not very good at learning it. I love reading, especially Malcom Gladwell.
I'm always open to learning new things!
