I am a 23-year-old, self-motivated, award-winning journalist and social media marketer. I design websites for fun, and I'm working on a startup called POPULOVE.net. I love all forms of entertainment and have been trusted by Lady Gaga, Joss Whedon and Chris Colfer to engage with their fans online and off. My life is work, so maybe I should just add my resumé. ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After a very difficult 12 months in Indianapolis, I took an offer from a friend in Los Angeles to move out here. My best friend (Jessica) and I packed our bags and used the last money we had to get to LA, with the promise we'd have somewhere to stay for at least three weeks while we found jobs and saved up for an apartment. This was working fine until today (8/14) when we found out that our friend told her husband we'd be staying with them three weeks at most, not at least. As of tonight, we are living in my car.

Jessica already has found a job and works full time (Juice Crafters, you should check them out), and I am actively job hunting: filling out an average of 50 job applications a week and attending at least one interview a week. We are looking for anywhere to stay, whether it be a night or two weeks makes no difference. Even an opportunity to shower is appreciated.
