Hi my name is Tim, I'm 29 years old. Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia with a Singaporean heritage.

I have just finished up a 2 year work visa in London and am slowly making my way back to Melbourne via South America. I am currently 4 months into a 6 month backpacking trip.

I love meeting new people and learning about different perspectives on the world life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make new friends and to view the world from their perspective. I like to avoid being a typical tourist when possible and try to visit locally recommended areas. I have found the best way to really get a feel of a country or city is to spend it making new friends with locals.

Interests

I love snowboarding and have previously completed 2 ski seasons in Banff, Canada.

Trekking is something I am often doing in my spare time and I still day dream about being back on the Annapurna circuit again.

During my down time, I can be found reading or watching a bit of Netflix.

Books - The Alchemist, Fight Club and the Harry Potter series are ones which I tend to re-read time and time again.
