About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore. Discover. Maybe go to a show two. Let's have a beer!

ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Tim. You can usually find me hanging out at a local music show. Or a taco truck.

I can be reserved and I usually know when to keep my mouth closed. But once I start talking about something I'm passionate about, I can go on for a while.

PHILOSOPHY

Respect people's opinion and don't be a jerk.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to actively engage in new experiences and meet new people. I've always loved hearing stories and I'd like to be able to weave a tale or two myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never used Couchsurfing but hoping that I will be able to utilize it for the first time soon!

Music, Movies, and Books

http://www.last.fm/user/ParisWillBurn <- for all the music that I have/am/will listen to!

Music - seriously, anything that I can move my head to. Yes, this includes country.

Movies - Boondock Saints

TV - Westworld, Black Mirror

Books - Enders Game, Scar Tissue, Harry Potter

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked 100 miles in two weeks through the Rocky Mountains in New Mexico.

Moved 1/2 a mile on the 405 freeway in Los Angeles in 2 hours. That's just infuriatingly impressive.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a life-long learner, willing to open and push my own boundaries as far as humanly possible. A few of those skills involve:

How to open a beer bottle with a lighter.
How to use chopsticks.
How to publish music.
Where to find the best local music in Los Angeles.
Which websites you can waste the most time on.
Trying to understand why someone believes in something.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Cuba, France, Greece, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Russian Federation, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
