CURRENT MISSION

I'm just trying to live life to the fullest and I honestly believe that 'the things you own end up owning you'. Consequently, most of my budget goes towards travel and further schooling. I like meeting and hanging out with anyone that isn't a fuddy-duddy.

ABOUT ME

Despite my work-adventures I have taken, I am actually a pretty clean person. I just always got a kick out of getting dirty at work. Currently, I am an engineering officer in the US Merchant Marine and I get to sail to some wonderful places around the world. I had a bucket list of jobs I wanted to experience before settling down and making this my final career. It allowed to meet some pretty awesome people and share many unique experiences.

I'm a typical fun loving kind of dude: an optimist and a form of yes-man.

PHILOSOPHY

I tell everyone that "I'm living the dream." You'll probably hear me say it when we hang out. I am pretty chill and try to live for the moment.

I always used to tell people I was a vagrant, but my older brother corrected me cause I always have a job before I leave to another place. His correction is that I am a 'vagabond.' I suppose I travel to experience people/culture and for work too.

I change work to find a career that I will love for the rest of my life. I meet people to brighten my life that much more and share laughs: there's something about meeting great people dotted around the world that makes me feel good. I explore so that when I retire, I know I have seen a lot and chose a great place to settle down for the rest of my years. If I have a chance to help someone with similar questions find their answers, I would love to meet up.

I am very humble in regards to, and do not talk about my beliefs often. Anywho, I believe strongly in a Creator and love exploring their creation and meeting the wonderful persons they put into my life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf, I used to offer a couch to crash on when I rented my own place. I am still very willing to meet up and host a good time... if I'm working, I can recommend cool local things to do. I am from a small town, so I usually can dig up some fun for anyone that would like suggestions.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love couchsurfing so far! I've meet some awesome people and been able to meet up with kind-hearted people that visit my country.

Interests

I enjoy most everything, so I wind up doing quite a bit. I am totally down with bettering one's self so I run most seasons and try to stay well read. Well, I don't read into news and politics since I don't think it leads to happiness.

Honestly, I am game for almost anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode trains around China for different adventures, but the Snow and Ice Festival in Harbin was absolutely stunning. I love the cold and met some warm-hearted persons that made the trip my absolute favorite.
