People say I'm a pretty chill, fun and open-minded guy to hang out with. That's pretty much what I like to think about myself.
My dad actually put it like this when he first saw me after I was born, apparently:

"This guy is going to go through life without a worry on his mind, piece of straw in his mouth, just going with the flow. He'll likely never suffer a heart attack but might be the cause of some in his environment."

Anyway, life doesn't always make it easy, but that sounds pretty much like the state of mind I strive for. (except for the causing heart attacks, just to be clear.)

I'm very much looking to expand my horizons in whichever way presents itself, in other words: CARPE DIEM.

Isn't staying with locals and hosting travelers a much more fun and authentic way to experience all aspects the world has to offer?

That's what I'm looking to start living toward fully.

I've been toying with the idea of going on extended travel for a while now and have recently started to really wrap my head around it.

So until I actually take off, hosting travelers is a way for me to start experiencing what the world has to offer already through my guests (maybe even pick their brains a little ;) ) and hopefully offer them part of that in return.

And of course it'd be a wonderful thing to have people all around the world to reconnect with one way or another once I have taken off!

Well, I love music, it's a big part of my life.
I play lead guitar and do backing vocals in a band called "Nil Miserans".
Look us up on facebook! But be warned, it's not for the faint of heart if you're not used to listening to metal.
Just fyi: I like a lot more stuff than just metal, I would just categorize that as my go-to genre.

I love learning languages: I've taught myself Italian and am looking to learn many more in whatever capacity in the future!

Eastern philosophy and all things esotherical have always fascinated me, the inner peace, the calm, the control over one's mind and body and the harmony between the two.
Part of this I strive for during my weightlifting workouts, but recently I've also ventured into meditation and am very much liking it thus far!
