We are two good friends who met in school a few years back. After graduation we discovered that we both share a great interest in travelling and meeting new people. So we decided to go on our first big trip together.

In april we will be heading for Australia where we will be embarking on a trip throughout the country.

Timothy:
I enjoy many different things. A good book, a great movie, spending time with friends and family or travelling (duh). I also have a passion for filmmaking and photography and aspire to work in this field in the future.
Generally I am always happy and open to learn and experience new things. :)

Michèle:
As Timothy I am an open-minded person who likes to find out more about the world. I love reading, dancing and having interesting conversations with all kinds of people. Spending time with my family and my friends is very important for me as well. I don't know where exactly I am heading in life yet - which is why I study philosophy. :P I also have a great interest in writing and journalism.

Musica, film e libri

Timothy:
I have to admit I am kind of a movie/tv-series junkie. ;) I really enjoyed Breaking Bad and can't wait for Game of Thrones to come out!
One of my favourite movies is Interstellar. Another one would have to be Scott Pilgrim vs The World.
A book I really enjoyed recently was Flowers for Algernon. Others include 1984 or Horns.

Michèle:
The artists I spend the most time listening to are Tracy Chapman, Dead Sara and Awolnation. I am always interested in getting to know new songs and bands though.
I like all different kinds of series and films. My favourite ones include:
Sherlock
Orphan Black
Queer as Folk
Game of Thrones
Inception
Vier Minuten &
Breakfast Club
The only genre I don't enjoy is horror.
My favourite books are The secret garden, Hunting and Gathering and The Solitaire Mystery.

We can share our perspectives, views, interests, experiences and hopefully some interesting conversations with our hosts.
I imagine we could also try (emphasis on "try" ;P) preparing a traditional meal from our country for our hosts, or teach them an expression or two in our language.
We are both very friendly and open-minded people and I think that we could get along well with our hosts since we are eager to meet new people and hear their stories in return as well. :)
