About Me

I'm a recent film school graduate from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles traveling around the world before I start my job at Walt Disney World in July. My friends say that I am open-minded, cultured, compassionate, and very well-informed. While my studies are over, I will always have a yearning to meet others and to share stories about living in this big, crazy world. I strive to authentic in who I am, and I seek to grow in every friendship I make and every experience I have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In this increasingly individualized global society, I realize just how important it is to not only have a network of people you know, but also a community of like-minded individuals that share a desire to take care of others and to share authentic experiences. While I have not hosted individuals on the platform, I have previous experience as a resident assistant in university dormitories, as well as hosting dinner parties for my friends and my family.

Interests

The best way I know how to host so far is via cooking for a dinner party, so most of my cooking comes in that form. I also am heavily considering launching a podcast series on the art of political conversation (I was a competitive debater at university), with a lot of that being based off of a strong understanding on history. I am also enamored by all the ways to tell stories, including literature, art, films, comic books, and video games. I also have a life-long love of card games of any variety, including poker and Hearthstone.
