ABOUT ME

Well, I think it's impossible to describe any person in some words or sentences, but let's give it a shot! My name is Tim. I am friendly, sociable and open-minded guy living in the best Russian city Saint Petersburg.
I am a Virgo and if you are good at astrology, you should know that Virgos are the best friends!!! Friendliness I guess is the best feature of my character. I love people, and all of my friends are like the cool ocean where I swim every day. My motto is I don't care if you're black, white, straight, bisexual, gay, lesbian, short, tall, fat, skinny, rich or poor. If you're nice to me, I'll be nice to you. Simple as that)))
In my free time I like working over myself on the way to perfection. I learn and speak English, travel, read, teach students and my foreign friends, explore Saint Petersburg and spend time with my lovely friends.
One of my hobbies also is to organize tours around Saint Petersburg for my friends who visit me here. Moreover recently a company I am working for has bought a set of equpment for professional tour guide. Well if you wanna know something new about Spb, just let me know.
I hardly any have low spirit. I don't like lazy people, who complain the life and do nothing to change it. Everything is in your hands! Let's do it!
At the end of that I can say I am interested in life and my dream is to visit all of my foreign friends who has ever invited me. Thanks very much guys, I really appreciate it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CouchSurfing in September of 2011. It was a new challenge to me on my way of learning English. Attending weekly CS meetings I have met many interesting and memorable people. And I can even say that some of them have changed my life.

Intereses

In my free time I like learning English, Spanish, traveling, spending time with my friends and teaching maths and Russian. Petesburg is the cultural capital of Russia and one of the most favourable thing I love the life here for is huge number of defferents events, places and entertainments you may attend. Movies, festivals, exhibitions... whatever you are interested in you will be able to find your place to visit. Welcome!
I am a big fan of Russian bellet and theatre so from time to time I go there with my friends.
Despite my busy lifestyle I try to dedicate some hours a day to reading. It helps me to leave the reality and forget about the bustle of a big city for a short time.

Música, películas y libros

There are a lot of movies I like but only two blowed my mind: The Shawshank redemption and Forrest Gump. The best film directors for me are Fincher, Tarantino and Nolan.
My favorite band is Maroon 5, and in general I prefer light rock music (or British pop)

Algo increíble que he hecho

When I was a student at the university we had the business accounting subject. Our teacher was old and looked like skinny hag. One day my friends and I made a decision of breaking a class. One day before we informed our group mates that tomorrow would be the international day of fruit and vegetables and each student must have brought some to celebrate it. On the middle of class I gave a note to pull all fruits and vegetable out of bags. We ate them, changed between each other and had a fun. Our teacher was so angry with us but she couldn't have done anything!!!
