Overview
About Me
We're two students who want to escape little old Belgium :-)
Easy going, open minded and keen to get to know new people and backpack around.
Both love food, love music (Jolan plays the piano + sings in a choir) and having a good boogie!
When visiting a city, we like to just wander around and feel the vibes of each place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We love how it connects people from all across the world!
It's a more personal way of travelling, staying with locals and discovering the area with them. It sounds great to share experiences, teach skills and share stories. And we want to travel low budget, seeing as we are just two financially very average students ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books
Timpa: The Last Shadow Puppets, the Beatles, Sam Cooke // Populaire, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, the Lord of the Rings // Sapiens, Norwegian Wood, Angela's Ashes
Jolan: whatever's on the pop charts (and I sing along in and out of the shower), I enjoy series like How to Get Away with Murder or Peaky Blinders and in my free time I ravish anatomy schoolbooks. Just kidding :-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Timpa: Deciding not to go to university yet, take some time for myself, try out different things, learn more about life, living abroad
Jolan: travelling to South-Africa with my choir and hiking there for hours surrounded by bonobos
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, you bet!
Otherwise, combined, this is what we got; good conversation, life guard reanimation, Parelli horsemanship, insight to Japanese culture, passion for sports (swimming, badminton, running...), boring Belgian jokes, tremendous dancing skills ;-)
