Overview
About Me
After traveling for several years I moved home to Vermont in 2010. In 2015 I got married, and welcomed my partner Emily and her daughter Avela into the household. We value meeting people from different cultures, and our home is open to people of all identities and backgrounds.
I work at Sterling College, a small college focused on environmental stewardship that's located a short distance from our house. Emily does therapeutic bodywork in a home studio, and Avela is in 7th grade. I'm adaptable, happy with my own company or in a crowd. I like small campfires and big conversations, and I look forward to meeting you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had wonderful experiences staying with couchsurfing hosts in places as diverse as Quebec, Hong Kong, and South Carolina. Hosting in Saigon was always a blast, and I enjoy hosting here in Vermont as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My introduction to Couchsurfing came in 2007, when I rode my folding bike across Quebec. In 2008, while living in Vietnam, I hosted several Couchsurfers. I've also hosted in Boulder, Colorado, and now enjoy hosting here in Vermont.
