About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make this world a better place to live in by promoting positive outlook on life. I firmly believe that it is very important to remind people around us that our life is a miracle and every minute of it is precious. We are born to be happy and successful

ABOUT ME

21 year old student of Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas.
But actually I am Russian student, who has won a US government scholarship to study for one year in the United States of America. I was born in Kazakhstan, but now before this year I have been living and studying in Siberia - the legendary for its freezing cold climate part of Russia. I travelled a lot in Russia and I should admit that love it more than anything in the world. I am going to study in the US only for one year that is why I want to explore as much as possible.
I consider myself to be fun-loving, easy-going person, but who is responsible and serious when it comes to my profession. I am going to connect my life with business and motivation speaking and get Master's Degree in the United States.
I believe that we can achieve everything if only we agree to pay for it with our time, efforts and intentions. I also believe that a person becomes what he thinks about, that is why I try to be optimistic all the time and see positive aspects in everything.
I greatly enjoy travelling and meeting interesting inspiring people, because I believe in diversity and that it enriches ourselves as personalities, that is why I am so disappointed with all these visas, because I understand how hard it will be to get to the United States for the second time and that is the reason for my motivation to explore as much as possible while I am here.
My trips over the US include Los-Angeles, San-Francisco, Las-Vegas, Grand-Canyon. The most memorable experience with CS was in LA, where we stayed with a person who is an ideal couch, the striking example of hospitality and couch surfing values.
My next trip is to NY, but unfortunately it is very hard to find a place to stay during Christmas holidays, but I believe that everything will turn out OK in the end.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that our life is a miraculous gift by the God and that we should appreciate every minute of this life and live this day as if it is the last day of our life. Only in this way we can focus on the most important things and people in our life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I am here in the United States I want to learn as much about couchsurfing as possible, so as to promote and implement this idea in my native community, because I have a firm belief that Siberia is definitely worth seeing, especilly we are proud of The Stolby National Nature Reserve. You can find out about this miracle here:

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think that I am really lucky with people whom I meet during my traveling.

It is a God blessing to having met Galen Loram in LA, Ivan in SF, Sasha and Grasha in Las-Vegas! Thank you for everything!
