Travel around the world in MORE than 80 days. Dream about future trips, learn Chinese, plan a trip to Tibet by train and then TEFL a bit in China.

ABOUT ME

All about me? Let's see.. I'm a PhD student. I definitely enjoy studying, but my real passion is traveling. Meeting people, seeing new things, doing new things. Live day by day and see where you end up. I'd like to think I'm adventurous, but nothing extreme really ;) I enjoy exploring strange places, but I also enjoy just sitting down and reading a book. I love markets and public transport.. and, being from the Netherlands, I absolutely love mountains!

PHILOSOPHY

Try to enjoy life as much as possible. It's quite simple actually.. I just hope everyone at least gets the chance to do just that.

Besides traveling? I love reading and watching films.. getting comfy on the sofa..

Music, Movies, and Books

I love European art house films, from Amelie to Volver. But I can also enjoy a cheesy romantic comedies. My favourite film has got to be The Hours. One of those films I can just watch over and over again.
When it comes to books I'm into English Lit. I bought all of Virginia Woolf's novels and can't wait to start reading.
Music? Not so much a music fan actually, but I can sometimes enjoy classical music :)
