About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am seeking to "live well" - conscious of the earth under me, the people around me and aware of myself.
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Lewisville (Dallas), TX. I went to college at FSU and now live in Louisville, KY. I'm trying my hand at writing some screenplays and hope to get some produced some day. I love coffee, tea and IPA beer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hey! I've been living in Louisville for about 2 years and love it. The town has a really independent spirit, surprisingly. And, it has a beautiful Park designed by the same guy who did New York's Central Park. I'd love to help anybody get to know the city a little better. There's some awesome views and some awesome flavors.
Also, I love traveling, seeing new people and learning about how people live elsewhere. So, I hope to use a couch or two, as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A friend of mine has used the network a lot and turned me onto it. So, I'm just getting started with it all. Of course, I've been an "unofficial" couch for a while with friends around the country.
Interests
I play trombone in the community orchestra, am a barista, mess around on the guitar, enjoy Arrested Development, and reading good books.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Shawshank Redemption. My favorite book is Orthodoxy by G. K. Chesterton. A few other favorites are Ender's Game, The Stars My Destination, and a book of poetry titled Jagged with Love. I enjoy the Alt-Country scene with The Avett Brothers, Chatham County Line, and Laura Viers. I also love Rich Mullins' music (esp. lyrics) and Shostakovich.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 2 weeks in China. It was incredible. I saw the Great Wall and the Terracotta Warriors. That's the farthest from home I've been. The highlights of the places in the US are Montana (absolutely beautiful), Seattle WA (the trees were incredible), Eugene OR (the beers were incredible), and Boston MA (so much history!). I've also been to Germany when very young.
