Hi there, I am Tim.

My biggest passion is football . I love the game.

Besides that, I like music, art, videogames, literature and other enjoyable stuff.

My grandfather was famous Tatar writer Adburakhman Absalyamov and so me and my family run a small museum in Kazan. I also used to work for FC Rubin Kazan, several museums and was a research fellow at different universities.

One day I will write everything that happened with me in a book of memoirs and hope it will be a good one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, my first time here was because of a football game. The end was late and I needed a place to stay. That experience was amazing and so here I am, always open to new friends from different corners of the Earth.

I travel a lot, practically every month. And what I want to say is that trips when I used Couchsurfing are among my very best. All the people that I've met were absolutely fantastic and I felt like we have always been friends.

Interests

Hmmm... I like to grab a six-pack and play petanque in a good company :)
Well, generally I like team sports and games, delicious food and drinks, beautiful places and people, wisdom, magic of the moment, being on the road and being at home. To enjoy all the proper good things.

I can add here the fantastic World Cup 2018 trip - one month of travelling across Russia, 14 nights in trains, 12 games, 8 stadiums in 7 cities and thousands of great people from all corners of the Earth. Just the greatest festival and adventure. And what's even more important - we went it all the way with my school friend, with whom we started to follow the game in early boyhood.

But don't think I am all about football, haha :) It's just the thing that I totally love and it's great from my perspective.
