Resumen
Sobre mí
Hi! I’m a digital marketing specialist living in Germany for the past 6 years. I work at a private public policy school, where I get to combine creative work with purpose-driven education — a mix I really enjoy.
Originally from Kazakhstan, I moved to Germany to study International Management, Marketing & Entrepreneurship at OVGU in Magdeburg. That journey completely changed my mindset — it opened me up to new cultures, perspectives, and friendships. I’m no longer a student, but I’ve stayed curious and open-hearted.
I love fitness (it’s my daily meditation), good conversations, and meeting people who see the world a little differently than I do. Whether it’s over food, a walk, or just talking about life, I truly enjoy those little moments of connection that make travel special.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
People are a big source of inspiration for me — that’s why I want to be an active part of the Couchsurfing community. Getting to know people from different cultures makes you spiritually richer. Everyone has their own unique story, and more often than not, people are happy to share their experiences. I think those kinds of honest, human moments are what make travel truly meaningful.

Música, películas y libros
I enjoy music from different cultures and genres — I honestly listen to just about everything. That said, some of my favorite artists are bands like OneRepublic and Coldplay, and singers like Ed Sheeran and James Blunt.
When it comes to movies, The Judge with Robert Downey Jr. really stuck with me, and of course, The Godfather is a classic I never get tired of.
As for reading, I usually go for “Sachbücher” — as they call nonfiction in German — especially business-related books. But I also enjoy diving into a good crime drama when I want to escape a bit.
Algo increíble que he hecho
It’s hard to choose just one, but one of the most amazing things I’ve done was traveling around Kazakhstan on a business trip — visiting five cities in just one week and covering around 6,000 kilometers by plane, train, and car. Everything was covered by my company, as I was working as a secret customer, evaluating services while exploring the country at the same time.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I’d love to share everything I know about my country — Kazakhstan — especially since many future hosts or guests might not know much about it. I’m always happy to talk about our culture, history, daily life, and the little things that make it unique. And if you’re ever planning to visit Kazakhstan, I’d be glad to give tips or even welcome you there!
I can also share my experience of being a high-skilled immigrant in Germany. I moved here to study Marketing in Magdeburg, and since then I’ve built my career in digital marketing. I went through the whole integration journey — studying in a new language, adapting to a different work culture, and finding my place socially and professionally.
If anyone’s curious about life in Germany as an expat, the education system, or career paths after university — I’m always open to sharing what I’ve learned.
