About Me
Welcome to our page! We are Timur and Ilya, a couple who moved from Russia to the Netherlands in search of a better life. While in Russia, Timur worked as an account manager for Yandex in advertising, and Ilya worked in technical support for a company that traded goods worldwide. In our free time, we enjoy running, playing guitar, cooking Russian, Buryat and more cuisine, and taking long walks in new places. We both speak Russian, and although our English is not perfect, we always try to find common ground with the people we meet on our travels. Currently, we are learning Dutch.
We both love to travel and immerse ourselves in the culture of new places, so we have visited many cities in the Netherlands and have fallen in love with this country. We enjoy spending time in local clubs and bars, where we can try the local beer. We also appreciate a homely atmosphere, especially in the company of new friends. Despite our love for adventure, we value a cozy home where we can relax after a busy day.
We are not just tourists, we seek opportunities to meet locals and understand how they live and think. We appreciate culture and art and are willing to share our cultural heritage, as well as learn more about you and your country!
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to host guests as we do not have our own place. But we are always happy to meet new people and love to stay with locals when our trips are extended.
We respect your space and your rules and are ready to help you with any household chores if necessary. You can be sure that your place will be kept clean and tidy.
We are confident that we will be great guests for you!
