I'm a Dutch guy, living in Leiden together with my girlfriend and our cat, Hector. Few years ago I graduated college and now work as a consultant. Our small apartment in Leiden is right in de city's centre and overviews historcal sites, like the city hall and the old fortifications.

Through my work I travel a lot to European countries. I'm keen on travelling, getting to know the society and history of places where I am and on meeting new people. To broaden my world view I joined couchsurfing; because I've experienced that the best way to get to know a country is to spend time with the people living there.

- Travel through a 40 degrees Celcius desert by van to Masada, Ein Gedi and the Dead Sea in Israel with a group of travellers from the hostel.

- Cycling trips to Mont Ventoux
