ABOUT ME
I live in Los Angeles, CA working in film, television, and theatre. I write screenplays, stage plays, poetry, short stories, and I've been to almost every state in the United States, and have lived in a number of cities, and have travelled to London and Paris. PHILOSOPHY
"My prayer is that we trust the beauty of our hearts and awareness. Holding hands, may we help to bring healing and freedom to our world.
May all beings realize their essence as loving awareness.
May all beings live their lives from this awakened heart.
May all beings be happy.
May all beings touch great, natural peace.
May there be peace on earth, peace everywhere.
May all beings awaken and be free."

Music, Movies, and Books
I love movies from the 1970's, art-house films (Janus, Criterion Collection) Ingmar Bergman: Scenes From A Marriage, The Seventh Seal, Wild Strawberries, Ingmar Bergman Makes A Movie (documentary), and about to start his trilogy of faith, with Winter Light, etc.
Theatre: Jo Strømgren Kompani, Schaubühne, Pig Iron Theatre, Romeo Castellucci, The Wooster Group.
I love Bob Dylan, The Beatles, R.E.M., Radiohead, P.J. Harvey, "Bebop" jazz and everything leading up to it, and so much more.
The books most influential in my life have been The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, On The Road, and the plays of Anton Chekhov. I love Joseph Campbell, D.T. Suzuki, Alan Watts, Hemingway, Shakespeare, and many others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was acting in a film that an incredibly talented, close friend of mine called "Ashes."

He wrote it for me and his reallly talented sister, and we shot a scene at the Grand Canyon, where I had never been before. Hearing about the beauty of the Grand Canyon and experiencing it are two completely different things, and it took our breath away.
We shot the scene, and before we packed up to leave, my friend got down on one knee and proposed to the editor of the film, his girlfriend at the time, and they were engaged at one of the most beautiful places on the planet, where I was one of four people to experience it.
We all cried like idiots. :)
Truly amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help people interested in articulating their stories into a specific medium, like Film or Theatre, and perform and write from their own personal experience. I am also an actor, both stage and film, and can bring an American perspective of performance to different cultures.
I want to learn languages! French, Spanish, Italian, etc., so my dream would be to spend a significant time in around the world traveling and learning from new friends how to communicate in their native tongue, and spend time with people enjoying films, plays, and music in the artist's original language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm currently developing a physical theatre workshop based on techniques from Shakespeare & Co. in Lenox, MA, Pig Iron Theatre in Philadelphia, and learning and implementing Grotowski exploration with the ensemble theatre and improvisation work of Jacques Lecoq.
A huge part of my desire to travel is to go to different countries and work with theatre companies and artists in workshops, learning new (or ancient) methods of teaching and performing, and implementing it into what I hope to create in my own work and teaching.
It's all in the very early stages, but I would love to share this work with hosts who might be interested in exploring physical theatre, and having fun!
