About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Take a hike

ABOUT ME

I love being outside and consider myself a naturalist. I'm learning birds, insects, plants, reptiles, astronomy, geology and other nerdy science pursuits.

I've been slowly getting into rock climbing, but still consider myself very much a beginner.
If its a hike, paddle down the river, mountain bike ride or anything that involves exploring, you can usually count me in.

Typically I'm busy with work or something related to the above paragraph. Which amazes me because I consider myself more type B.

I work in California, Nevada, Arizona and beyond. I'm a subcontracting biologist so if I'm not in Moab then I'm probably walking around in the desert with a pair of binoculars and a data recording device. Its a good life!

I like good food, good coffee, good beer, but I most enjoy what those usually fascilitate...good conversation.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is beautiful once you get past the paperwork.
