Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Tina, I live in Schwetzingen, a lovely and beautiful city in a great area in Germany.
I traveled a few countries in the last years while holiday, quit my job 2018 and did a big journey through Asia and to Australia and New Zealand. Now I'm back home and travel occasionally again.
I'm a talkative, happy and curious person. Reliable, honest, tolerant and open minded as well.
I love to meet new people, learn something new and help others to enjoy their life.
I got to know great people on my travels and I would love to give you the same amazing experience as I had.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing, because I would like to meet new people from other countries and cultures.
Sharing is caring! I love to be a guide at home, introduce you to my city / country, local food and drinks and show you how amazing Germany can be (without being drunk at Oktoberfest, that's actually not my culture).
I will not use this app as a dating app - just to make it clear from the beginning. I'm not interested in any romantic / sexual connection.
Interests
I spend my free time usually with family, friends and lovely people. Doesn't matter what we do - if we go swimming, hiking, climbing or just for a drink - it's always amazing if you're with the right fellows.
I do Wing Tsun for self defense reasons and love to bike. In summertime I'm always outside to enjoy the sun and the beautiful nature.

Music, Movies, and Books
Interstellar and Inception are my favorite films.
I generally like films with deeper meaning or intelligent twists.
Movies about artificial intelligence and innovative technology are interesting as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I pet a 🐊 in Gambia - it was amazing!
Diving with Sharks 🦈 on the Philippines, feeding Stingrays on Cayman Island, kayaking through the harbour of Sydney.
Swimming through biolumineszenz plankton in Malaysia at night, hiking up Mount Ijen in Indonesia to see the blue fire, doing the Tongariro crossing hike in New Zealand (which was the hardest I've ever done).
Riding a camel 🐪 in Marokko and Tunisia, seeing a kangaroo in Australia 🦘 and finally met so many cool and interesting people on my way.
There are so many amazing things I've done and seen on my travels. In my opinion traveling is the best way to live your life, explore the earth, get to know yourself and have a stunning time on this planet 🌍
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to pronounce "Schadenfreude" and "Wanderlust" correctly (also other German words if you like to).
I can share a lot of stories and experiences with you - some are funny (for example the story in Mexico, where every police officer searched for me) and I love to philosophise with others about the sense of life, the end of the universe and the 'life' after death.
I'm interested in geography as well and know every country and capital city - I can teach you that, but no clue if there's use for you.
I love to share my cooking and baking skills with you, my knowledge about human psychology and some facts about the universe, stars and planets.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Great Stories, a good time, a nice meal and a place to be welcomed in Germany!
You make my travels safe, interesting and memorable. The time I spend with you will always be in my memory and I appreciate your hospitality and kindness so much!
