Overview
About Me
hey there!
My name is Tina and I am a 21year old girl from Germany. I am doing an exchange year right now here in Japan and I will stay till sommer 2019! I want to learn more about the people and the culture here, but of course I also want to improve my Japanese :)
I started studying Japanese two years ago in University, but the main reason I did so, was because I already went to Japan in 2016 for 3months and that was the time I realised I wanted to learn more about this interesting country :) I went to all of the island exept of Okinawa and Shikoku, I really want to that this year :)
I first got in touch with Japanese Pop-culture like anime and manga, but I soon realised that there is so much more to explore.
I would consider myself as open minded and energetic.
But I also need a lot of alone time, so it is very hard to balance things out sometimes, but I try to do the things that make me happy!
I also joined the japanese archery (kyudo) club at university this year, cause I wanted to try traditional sport while I am here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Even though I am quite bussy with university and studying, I want to meet new people here in Japan and learn about their points of view on Japanese culture.
