About Me
✨🌙 Travel for the soul ✨🌙
Though I was born in the United States, I've always felt like I’ve been in the search for what “home” means to me. Being raised as a first-generation American by my family, Cambodian-refugees, paved the path for me to explore and experience the greatest challenges, yet grateful and beautiful moments of my life. Remnants of suffering and desperation left a residue in the energy I was raised in. I was constantly reminded of the killing fields and how my family had to live their lives; this molded a will inside that will forever lead my life.
They say that "home is where the heart is". If that is so, then my home is in many places. My home is in the people that I love, the places that I've been, the smiles in the people I’ve met and served, and the memories I have made. There is a will inside of me that urges to see the world, to open my heart to new things, to meet new people, and to use these experiences to mold myself for something greater.
Through another's pain and sacrifices of my own, I was able to see life in a different light - one that differs from the slaving 9-5 of American capitalist culture.
I’ve had my fair share of succumbing to societal norms and trying to beat the status-quo. Recently I’ve had some changes in life and I’m in a transitional period where I’m looking to focus on my passions of travel and music and leave behind the life path I was conditioned to live. This includes hopefully meeting and experiencing you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am interested in meeting people, immersing myself in culture and going on adventures. Everything new and unknown intrigues me. I am daring and unconventional at times, but that is what brings the excitement and new experiences in my life. I love attempting new things and experiential growth. I hope that through couchsurfing I can have such opportunities.
I believe the highest purpose in life is servitude. I try to live by being of service to others. Because through service we can impact other people’s lives positively, and also broaden our horizons.
I've met tons of people on CS hangouts but haven't gotten too many reviews. I’ve officially only couchsurfed once for one night. My travel style changed a bit the latter half of this decade, but I’ve had some recent changes in life that prompt me to do more travel like a local and solo again. I promise I am cool :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I’m really passionate about music, specifically much of the techno genre and umbrella of sub genres. I’m not a huge movie person, but I really loved Samsara. In terms of books I’m interested in spiritual, personal growth, and philosophy topics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in Barcelona for 3 months as an intern, traveled solo, and have been to 27 countries and counting. My solo move to Spain changed my life. Ever since, I’ve been traveling for the past 10 years and will continue to for the rest of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn Spanish, cultural immersion, learn new philosophies, share wisdom and experiences.
