About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Keep living, avoid existing

ABOUT ME

I'm an active, enthusiastic slightly crazy person.
I have a huge passion for nature and love to travel and meet interesting people.
I'm open to new expericences that broaden my horizon.

A short history about my life;
I was born in Holland and spend my life growing up on the countryside in Groningen. I was always outdoors exploring nature.
I always wanted to see the world and travel like and 'adventurer', I read books about Robinson Crusoe and watched travel series.
When I was 15 I went to the French Pyrenees for 2 weeks, and 2 years later to Turkey this made a great impression on me.
In 2004 I started studying Wildlife Management in Holland and in 2005 I had my first 'real' backpack experience in Italy for 6 weeks.
In 2006 I grew restless and stopped my studies to go backpacking for 5 months, I started on Trinidad & Tobago, went to Venezuela and Colombia, I fell in love with the island Tobago and decided to live there for a while.
I continued my studies and did several projects on Tobago.
After Tobago I went to live in Germany for a while, Egypt for a few months and then decided to do my degree in Ecology in Spain. Fell in love an living in Spain since 2012

PHILOSOPHY

Keep living, don't just exist, enjoy what you do and learn everyday, turn your bad experiences in to learning experiences and help other people you cross on your path.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am travelling myself, so I'm looking for people to house me. When I find a new house myself I will have a couch available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a bit of experience with couch surfers. On Tobago I housed several persons for a few days in my little jungle house and Also in Holland I housed 2 German guys that where wandering the streets looking to camp in the park. I had great fun doing this, and the experiences of showing people around in 'your' world is great. It is an eyeopening experience.

Interests

I'm interseted in so many things, I can't list that ll here. When you meet me you can aks me.
As hobbies I have diving, hiking, sports (Brasilian Ji Jitsu), nature and spirituality.
