About Me
The quote by Anais Nin sounds about right: "I must be a mermaid, Rango. I have no fear of depths and a great fear of shallow living."
After 6 years of life in Amsterdam, I've moved back to Ljubljana. I'm rediscovering this town, seeing it with different eyes now, the town that has always been a home to me.
I'm pretty social, enjoy meeting people with diverse stories, backgrounds and professions, end up in conversations about life, art, society, philosophy and nature. I'm interested getting to know people through time, not just hi and goodbye. It is very exciting to talk with complete strangers, you might end up creating a friendship.
On the other hand I'm very curious about the relationship between humans and nature, and then nature and art. I love exploring these topics and getting out to the woods and mountains is my preferred way of spending my free time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I still agree with what I wrote about 8 years ago:
"I'm quite new to the whole experience, which has proven to be one of the best things I ever done. It's like an extended, international family. I think it's really the best way to feel the vibrations of the city. Who cares about sights? It's about the people. Anyway, one day when I can, I will definitely return the experience to others."
And now I have the opportunity to do so.
