About Me

Hey there around the world!

I'm Tina, 30 years old, living in Berlin since 2013.
I am a bit nerdy Sociologist at daytime and passionate Dancer at nighttime.
I just love meeting new people from all over the world, share stories, discovering new places together or just show them our great Dancing Scene in Berlin. Since 2018 I am very addicted to latin dancing and love especially Bachata and Salsa but Kizomba, Zouk and Tango as well. My idea of travelling in general is to dance where ever I go and combine at least 2 of my favorite things in life: travelling and dancing! Sometimes I add Horsebackriding, Biking and some great Hikes to it ;-) I like to challenge myself and leave my comfort zone.

Looking forward to meet you! 🎊

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2019 I started to share my couch in my 2-room-apartment to host nice and interesting people from all over the world to create a great intercultural exchange. On the other hand I plan to visit new people abroad as well. If I can meet dance or horse passionate people that would be absolutely amazing 🤩

Interests

I like meeting friends, see new places, I like sports (dancing, cycling, horseback riding, hiking, climbing, snowboarding..). I like good music and Im a passionate Bachata, Kizomba and Salsa Dancer. I was a horseback riding teacher years ago, so I love riding and horses as well.

I prefere watching good videos and talks via youtube which gives inspiration for personell development. I rarely watch movies. If I have freetime Im dancing and seeing friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Discovering the great dancing community in Tel Aviv/Israel having Bachata lessons in hebrew. Dancing in top of a 52floor apartment in the city center at night. Surfing along the beach of Tel Aviv and floating at Dead Sea.

Snowboarding the Alps in Winter and sleeping in a hut after long days of hiking the alps of Tirol/Austria in Summer. Found kind of wild horses there.

Watch the bright sky by night on the southern hemisphere. See hundreds of wild dolphins swimming with us and hike an active volcano and see snowy glaciers in NewZealand. Learn Tango in Queenstown.

Cantering an ambitous white horse along the looong white beaches of the South African Wild Coast. Ride into the african countryside and walk with Zebras and Giraffes on my horse. Canyoning in the African Jungle.

Having a flat tire in the namib desert. Skydive over Cape Town. Having Christmas with great christian people in church in Capetown and be invited to a fabulous african christmas dinner at the bishops house. The great african hospitality at all.

Snorkeling in Thailand. Having a drink on top of one of the highest cocktail bars in the world in Singapore

Danced Bachata on the great wall of China 😁

Motorbiking the north of Vietnam and made it illegally on my own over the border to China.

Danced and improved my Salsa Skills a lot in Cuba with a local dancers group from Matanzas. Attended a crazy cuban home birthday party.

Amazing nature and culture in Mexico. Attended all kind of protests in Mexico City and Santiago de Chile these times. Riding a police mans horse in Mexico-City.

Having my first surflesson in Puerto Escondido/Mexico and trying Magic Mushrooms in the Mexican Mountains after attending a traditional shamanian ceremony.

The most amazing horse back tracks in the jungle and mountains of Colombia <3 Cantering all those kilometers up the mountainside to the coffeefarms around Salento Coffee Region.

Visitied beautiful Cusco/Peru and had my best private Bachata classes there, totally unexpected! Machu Pichu was great to see even it was quite rainy.

Biking the Atacama Desert and Touring the big Saltdesert of Bolivia 4 days by a 4x4 jeep, just breathtaking landscapes at 5000m!!

Danced Bachata in Beijing/China, Taipeh/Taiwan, Saigon&Hanoi/Vietnam, Mexico-City, Cuba, Medellin/Colombia, Lima&Cusco/Peru, Santiago de Chile and finally 1 last Tangolesson in Buenos Aires before the Corona crises starts.

Finally: Survived the Corona Virus stuck and fully quarantined in Buenos Aires, Argentina at a couchsurfers place! #westaytogehter
